We ran consistent all day in the NOVA Trucking 150 at Scotia Speedworld on Saturday. It’s the second race in a row that we did not have to pit for chassis changes. This track is one of the toughest for me to figure out, but after my crew member Jack Lynds and I debated what to do we agreed on a set up that worked great for us. We didn’t do it alone though, my son David was available for a phone call and instructed us how to set up the bump stop. Jack and my crew can get the car close through basic set up, but the bump stops are what makes the difference going into the turns and rotating in the middle. It was a fun race for us, finishing 7th in our heat race and 14th of 19 in the 150-lap feature. No damage, we loaded the car without a mark on it.
That was an answer to prayer as we are taking the car to Willow Lodge nursing home this coming Friday. I have also been singing in nursing homes since the end of 2024 and I love it.
Thanks to my crew: Shannon Riley, Bob Landry, Chris Hughes, Jack Lynds, Ray Doucette, Heidi Priest and Thomas Doucette.
Thank you for visiting our site, God bless you all.
