Merry Christmas & Happy New Year To All My Family & Friends
Hoping all my family, friends, fans, competitors and sponsors had a great Christmas and have a blessed 2025. Buttons has been doing much better recently. She’s had so many ups and downs the fast few months but she’s doing well…..God answers prayers.
It’s been a while since I posted but I will start up again. It’s always tough getting sponsors to commit and stay with my team, it’s always the work of a low budget team.
I looks like we will run the Maritime Pro Stock Tour and a few invitationals to help us get more nights.
We have reached a huge milestone of 905 consecutive nights since June 5th 1987. The goal is to reach 1000 consecutive but a few thigs need to happen to do that. I will start season 57 for me at 78 years young. I need to get 95 more nights in and hopefully still have good health, good sponsors, committed crew (I do have a great crew) and the passion to get there. I pray that God will get me all three. I have 1348 total nights since 1969, over 56 years. That’s an average of 24.07 nights per year. Unfortunately due to Covid and tracks not running we only have 61 nights raced in the past 5 years, averaging 12 nights per year. If we get 15-16 per year, including Ontario, we need six more years maybe more, that puts me at 84. To help reduce that many years I have purchased a second car to run another series to add a few more nights, hoping to get 25 per year over the next 4 years. I really want to 1000 in a row, that I am sure will be recognized in all racing.
Grass roots is what I am, I can’t likely win any races in the big series, but we van have fun. I will be posting news on the second car in about 6 weeks.
Thanks for visiting our site, and God bless you all.
