Career Recap So Far

I have had a good career and I thank God for the many blessings throughout these 58 years.  This year hasn’t been easy, but neither was 2025 although I made every race on our schedule, 21 race nights.
This year with only one car we have 15 booked, could have had 16 but that extra night was September 5th and I will be heading to my grandsons wedding.  It wasn’t a points race but a Pro Late Model exhibition75-lap event.  Missing it won’t mean anything on our streak or the points standing.  This years schedule includes 2 race nights in Ontario, Flamboro Speedway for the Jr Hanley Twin 72’s and then Autumn Colors on Thanksgiving weekend. .
Here are some of our stats to date:  To God Be The Glory!!!!

* 53 years with Quaker State, (longest driver corporate sponsor in racing history)

* 25 seasons top 5 in points

My goal is to finish with 1000 consecutive nights….50 seasons of 100% and 50 seasons of top 10 points….we can do those last two this year, with Gods blessings
I am 79 and getting tired.  I feel bad I can’t keep up like I use to but I’m also in the toughest series in Canada.  The Fort Garry Industries Pro Stock Tour.
I thank God for giving me a great family, my children are very supportive, a very dedicated crew, awesome sponsors and good health although I am just tired.

If possible I would like to race 2 classes in 2027, but I will need enough funding from and my dedicated crew.
I can’t win anymore but I love it and that’s my passion.

I thank God for everything I have and “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”… Philippians 4:13 ‘
God bless you all thanks for visiting our site
