We ended the 2026 race season at Peterborough Speedway having our best run in a few years
We started 17th in the 167 lap feature finishing 10th.
Because it was the last race of the year, I drove as hard as I could passing many cars, including some of the top runners.
They were able to get me back, but it felt good to be competitive.
My team was fantastic
Shannon Riley, Derrick Tiemersma, Troy Stere and Jason Chapman all helped make this day as great success, we also had help from Craig and Matt from Adrian Fosters team. They jumped i helping us get ready for both Saturday and Sunday races.
I was also very happy that my trophy daughter Shirley  and granddaughter Lauren were there to see my best race in a few years.
We didn’t change the car at all from Flamboro Speedway and Scotia Speedworld set up, only played with tire pressures.
It was a fun race for me, I had zero pressure on me and encouraged a lot by Shannon my family and Crew.
Derrick did a fantastic job spotting and pointing out the fastest way around turns 1 and 2.
I had 3 and 4 figured out. 
At least 6-7 cars chopped me bad going into 3. I was able to avoid hitting most of them. I don’t think thought I would run so hard lol.
I’ve been very fortunate this year to have great spotters and crew.
I missed my Maritime crew Chris White and Jack Lynds, I did however get some work for them with redesigned body panels…..the boys will be working on the car soon for 2027

Just a minor note, Jake passed one car. We passed six.
