Glendale Secondary School October 7th A Great Success

On Wednesday Shannon Riley and I headed to Glendale Secondary School for a one day seminar on the basics of stock car racing. This time without our precious Buttons who was a favorite to the teens.
We arrived at 8 am and left by 3:45.
It was a great day for us and the student. This was our 11th year doing this thanks to our good friend and shop teacher Peter De New.
The kids got to install Hoosier mounted tires for our up coming race at Peterborough. They dismounted the American Racers. I autographed those tires to be used later for projects where students may win a tire.
They also changed the oil and filter. Three classes participated throughout the day. I was able to share the many opportunities in the automotive sector from basic apprentice, to service advisor and eventually service or parts manager.
It was an awesome day.
Here are some pictures from this special day.
A special note about this day, I found the students very respectful and polite.
Something we all hope for from this generation.
God is good. 😊🙏🏻❤️
