Forgiven Painted by Michael Bird this painting shows the amazing strength, power, love and grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. He died on the cross to pay our debt and buy our membership to Heaven, and provide the gift of Eternal Life…..He showed it by raising from the dead, defeating death, it has no hold […]

This Easter weekend is the most important for Christians. It’s one thing to lay down your life for others, but it’s completely different to do it for those who don’t care for you. Thank you Jesus for laying down your life so that those who believe in You would have eternal life. Have a great […]
Over the years I have painted my race cars rather than wrap them. Not only is painting a car cheaper, the bodies are easy to clean with solvent or gasoline. A wrap, if you get a donut on the door or quarter panel, is destroyed. Gets curled up and needs to be cut out and […]
I am proud and excited to announce that Permatex and all their wonderful products will return with us in 2021. This will be there 9th season with Gary Elliott Motorsports. I am very thankful to be using the many products they have for our race team. Thanks for visiting our site.
Gary Elliott Motorsports is proud to announce Lincoln Electric will return for the 2021 season, supporting our team for an incredible 19th season. We are very thankful to all our sponsors and can’t wait to represent them throughout the 2021 season. My Dad was a welder for the Boiler Makers Union for most of his […]
I am very happy and excited that we won the TCM Maritime Most Popular Driver award. These awards included Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and PEI. There were many racers involved. We won the fan vote for Best Appearing Car, but then a panel of judges selected Ashton Tucker of New Brunswick the winner of […]
I was away since December 14th visiting my loved one in Ontario. We had a great Christmas and New Years. As we prepare for 2021 I will have a post soon about what’s happening with our team. I have some great news. Here’s a great picture from the past. David racing at Jukasa in 2018 […]
I finally got to meet Jim this past summer at Scotia Speedworld. The race was in Jim’s honor, the Jim Hallahan 250. What a beautiful person he was. I was fortunate as a teenager to watch Jim race the #33 at Pinecrest Speedway. He was a top runner always chasing the checker flag and winning […]
The boys came over on Saturday, Bob, Tyler, Chris and Tyler’s friend Shawn. We got a lot done on the body putting panels back on. Here is the finished look after Saturday. More pictures on Diary of a Season 2020. Thanks for visiting our site.
In 1997 we painted our car all white, with a few changes like the checker up the side of the car. We had 9 wins that year including 2 features. We also won Best Appearing Car. We ran 26 nights and finished 6th in the overall points. Thanks for visiting our site
Over the years I have been very fortunate to avoid wrecks, either by being lucky, good anticipation or watching far enough ahead and seeing things as they develop. I thank God for wisdom to race and make it through races without getting beat up….that’s one victory most conscientious racers look for. Only one person can […]
Here is our most spectacular looking car. This Modified won Best Appearing Car 3 times in 2019. At the Rick Woolner Memorial in July of 2019, at the Ironman 72 at Sunset Speedway and then at the year end OSCAAR Modified banquet. I posted all the winners since our first car in 1969, on Diary […]
