July 3rd Pro Stock 75 Lap Invitational

We had our second 75 lap race at Scotia Speedworld on July 3rd. It was also our 6th night of 2026 bringing our total to 932 consecutive nights.   The format is we all run old used tires in our inventory.  Some have less laps on their tires than others.
We struggled earlier with handling. Could not get the car to handle in the corners so frustrating.  We worked on it, Jack Lynds and Chris White making some adjustments for the feature.  It was much better, the first time we did not push in the corner or get sideways coming off the turns.
There was one caution.  Perhaps the reason the car handled good was because we were not fast.   Got lapped twice in the first 38 laps but got a lucky dog on lap 38 when a caution came out.  We would end up 6th in the feature down 2 laps.  Scotia is my worst track but at 79 I can’t complain too much because I’m still doing what I love to do and represent our sponsors with a great looking race car.
So far in 2026 besides the 6 nights, we have also done 5 off track events with another 4 planned for July.  We may hit the most off track events in 10 years.   I love doing these to meet fans and expose our precious sponsors.
Our next race in July 15th at the fastest track in Canada, Riverside International Speedway in the Fort Garry Industries Pro Stock Tour.  It’s a 75 lap Dash For Cash on the Wednesday with the biggest event of the year, the IWK250 on Saturday July 18th.   Its a tough race with the high banks and powerful G-Force but I enjoy racing there.
July is busy for me with 4 races, 6 shows and 9 engagements at Residential and Nursing homes, plus all the reports after.  Keeps me busy and young 🙂
Thanks for visiting our site, God bless you all.
